Website Terms of Use and Disclaimer

Two agreements sit here, and they get confused. The terms of service cover the hosting you buy. What this page covers is the website in front of you, and it binds you whether or not you ever open an account. On any service you have already bought, where the two overlap, the terms of service take priority.

1. Using this site

Read the pages, quote them with attribution, link wherever you want, and run the domain search as often as you like. The things you cannot do:

• scrape the site hard enough to spoil it for everybody else, or work around the rate limits on the search and pricing endpoints;
• put out substantial stretches of the writing under your own name, training output passed off as original included;
• frame the pages, or dress them up so as to suggest an endorsement or a partnership that never existed;
• go looking for vulnerabilities on terms other than those in the data security statement.

2. What belongs to whom

Copyright in the words, layout, illustrations and brand mark rests with Azaanex Inc.. Our photography sits under a licence to us, so it stays put when somebody quotes the text. Product names owned by other companies, cPanel, WordPress, WHMCS and so on, are their trade marks. We use them to describe what we run, never to claim an association.

3. Prices, specifications and availability

Every price appears in US dollars, and dollars are what we charge in. When a page shows a local currency, that figure is a live conversion put there for orientation: checkout takes the dollar amount, and whatever rate your bank applies is the rate you get.

Registries set domain prices, and those prices shift. Anything shown here counts as an invitation to treat, not a binding offer; the figure that binds is the one sitting in your basket at the moment you pay. Where a price appears in obvious error, no obligation falls on us to honour it. You will hear about that before any money leaves your account, not once it has gone.

Specifications can move as the platform is upgraded. Where a change cuts what an existing service delivers, the customers affected hear about it from us.

4. Everything published here is general

We write the Resource Library, the journal and the comparison pages to be useful, and we research them properly. They remain general information all the same, not advice pitched at your situation. Nothing published here counts as legal, tax or financial advice. A page on picking a company structure, or on handling customer data, will never replace a professional who knows your circumstances.

Any comparison against another provider reflects information that was public when we wrote it. Rivals move their pricing without dropping us a note, so check where things stand today before you lean on one.

5. Links out

Links go out to registries, to documentation and to third-party tools wherever those are the best answer available. None of those sites is under our control. We do not endorse everything sitting on them, and what they do with your data once you arrive is not ours to answer for.

6. Availability of this website

The marketing site comes to you as it stands. Nothing here falls under the service level agreement, which reaches hosting services you have paid for rather than our own brochure. Pages here can be changed, moved or pulled without notice.

7. Limits of liability

So far as the law permits, no liability falls on us for loss that arises out of reliance on the general information published here, out of a third-party site you reached by following a link, or out of this website being down.

None of that excludes liability for death or personal injury brought about by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law will not let us exclude. Consumers keep their statutory rights untouched.

8. Cookies and personal data

Whatever gets set in your browser, and the reason for it, sits in the cookie notice. Our handling of any personal data is described in the privacy notice, while the way to exercise a right over that data lives in GDPR and your data rights.

9. Governing law

The law governing these terms is that of Canada, whose courts hold jurisdiction. Consumers living elsewhere in the UK keep the option of bringing proceedings at home, in the jurisdiction where they live.
