Cookie Policy
Revised July 20, 2026
1. Cookies in one paragraph
After a visit to a website, your browser keeps a small text file on that site's behalf. What the file carries is a choice you made earlier, held over for whichever page you open next. Every single cookie Hosting & Domains (hosting-n-domains.com) sets appears in the list below, along with the job it performs.
2. Exactly what we set
The list is short by design. This marketing site runs on the following:
- Currency shown (essential): one small cookie (
hnd_ccy) records the currency your prices render in, either drawn from your location or picked by hand in the currency switcher. Payment departs in USD whichever route you take, since this cookie alters the display and nothing further. - Language shown (essential): a cookie (
site_lang) stores the language in which pages render, once more taken from your location or fixed in the language switcher. - Consent choice (essential): a cookie (
hnd_cookie_consent) holds a record of whichever categories you approved, which stops the banner from asking on every single visit and allows your answer to be honoured properly. - Security & uptime (essential): the platform that serves this site may add cookies of its own, so that pages carry on loading securely and remain available.
- Analytics and advertising: there are none at present. Nothing of that kind is configured on this deployment, which means accepting every optional category would still load absolutely nothing. Should one ever be configured, it would appear below on the same day, because that portion of the page is derived from the site configuration rather than assembled by hand.
Whatever we measure is neither sold nor handed on to anybody. An earlier version of this notice said that our measurement set no cookies, and that nothing here followed readers from site to site. Both claims matched the tooling in use up to August 2026, and neither matches the site as it stands today, so both have given way to the itemised list rather than being left to rot in place.
3. Third-party tags, each one listed separately
There is nothing at all to set out. No such thing is configured on this deployment, so what follows below is empty as a matter of fact and not as a matter of omission. It is derived from the site configuration, and anything switched on will appear here straight away.
4. The billing portal
The billing and the client account live on a separate system at billing.hosting-cheap.com. That system is WHMCS, and it sets strictly necessary cookies of its own — the ones keeping a login session open, among others. The account will not work without them.
5. Changing your answer later, and clearing or blocking them
Every page carries a Cookie Settings link in its footer. That reopens the panel with the answer on record in front of you, so any category you accepted can be withdrawn by the same single click that granted it. Withdrawal stops all further storage and removes the identifiers in transit; whatever is already executing inside the page cannot be pulled out part-way through a visit, so clear the cookies if you want to be rid of it immediately.
Your browser can clear or block cookies at any moment you choose. Block the essential ones, however, and parts of the site stop behaving: the currency you selected, to take one example, will not survive through to your next visit.
