Accessibility Statement

Revised August 19, 2026

This statement covers hosting-n-domains.com, the marketing site you are reading now. It does not cover the billing and client area, which runs on third-party software we configure but did not build, or the hosting control panel, which belongs to our platform supplier.

1. The standard we aim at

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, level AA. We believe this site is largely conformant: the guidelines are met across the pages we have tested, with the exceptions in section 3.

"Largely" is doing real work in that sentence. A claim of full conformance across 500-plus programmatically generated pages would be a claim we cannot presently evidence, and saying so is more use to you than a badge.

2. What has actually been done

  • Every text and interface colour pair was checked against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast thresholds before the palette was signed off, and several brand colours were darkened because they failed.
  • The focus indicator is deliberately outside the brand palette and drawn as two concentric rings, so it stays visible against the amber CTA bands — an accent-coloured ring disappears there.
  • Interactive targets are sized to at least 44px in the smaller dimension.
  • Motion is decorative only. Animations stop under prefers-reduced-motion, including the scrolling marquee.
  • Pages are built from real headings, lists and landmarks rather than styled divs, and forms have labels rather than placeholder text standing in for them.
  • The layout reflows to 320px without a horizontal scrollbar, which is WCAG 1.4.10. It did not until 19 August 2026 — the navigation was wider than the viewport on every phone, and that has been fixed.

3. Known limitations

We are aware of these. Listing them is not the same as excusing them.

  • Automated testing is not yet part of the build. Contrast and structure are checked by hand at review time, so a regression can reach production between reviews.
  • The Resource Library is generated. Its 500 pages follow templates that have been reviewed, but the pages themselves have not been individually tested with a screen reader.
  • Decorative photography carries empty alt text. That is correct for decoration, but a handful of images are arguably informative and should describe themselves.
  • Third-party surfaces. Checkout, the client area and the hosting control panel are supplier software. We raise accessibility defects with them, and we do not control the fix.

4. Telling us something is wrong

Email info@hosting-n-domains.com or use the contact form. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. Your assistive technology and browser help, if you know them, but the report is useful without.

You get a reply within five working days. Where something blocks you from completing a purchase or reaching support, we will find another way to get it done for you while the underlying defect is fixed — say so and it will be treated urgently.

If our answer is unsatisfactory, the complaints procedure escalates it to somebody who was not involved.

5. How this was assessed

By self-assessment: manual keyboard traversal, contrast measurement of every token pair in the palette, and layout testing from 320px upward. No independent audit has been commissioned, and this statement will say so until one has.

Prepared on 19 August 2026 and reviewed whenever the site changes materially.
