Accessibility Statement

This statement covers hosting-n-domains.com, the marketing site in front of you right now. Two things sit outside its scope: the billing and client area, which runs on third-party software that we configure but did not write, and the hosting control panel, which belongs to the supplier of our platform.

1. The benchmark we build to

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. Our reading is that this site is largely conformant: every page we have put under test meets the guidelines, apart from the exceptions listed in section 3.

"Largely" carries weight in that sentence. To claim full conformance across 500-plus programmatically generated pages would be to claim something we cannot evidence today, and telling you that is worth more than a badge on a page.

2. The work that is already done

• Before the palette was signed off, we measured every text and interface colour pair against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast thresholds. Several brand colours failed that test, so we took them darker until the numbers cleared.
• The focus indicator sits outside the brand palette on purpose, and we drew it as two concentric rings. That keeps the ring visible against the amber CTA bands, where an accent-coloured version would disappear outright.
• Primary controls measure 44px on their shorter edge: buttons, the menu toggle, form submits. Dense link rows, the footer index among them, sit at 32px. That clears the 24px floor WCAG 2.2 sets in 2.5.8, and we would rather not claim the larger figure across the whole site.
• Motion is only decoration. Animations shut off under prefers-reduced-motion, including the scrolling marquee.
• We build pages out of genuine headings, lists and landmarks, and not from styled divs, while every form here carries a proper label instead of placeholder text pressed into service.
• Down at 320px the layout reflows with no horizontal scrollbar, which is what WCAG 1.4.10 asks for. That was not true until 19 August 2026. Back then the navigation ran wider than the viewport on every phone, and it has since been fixed.

3. Known limitations

These are known to us. Writing them down here is not the same as making excuses.

• Automated checks have not reached the build pipeline yet. Contrast and structure get checked by hand at review time, so a regression can slip into production between one review and the next.
• The Resource Library is generated. Its 500 pages come off templates we have reviewed, though no one has sat down with a screen reader and worked through each page one at a time.
• Photography used as decoration has empty alt text. For decoration that is the right call, though a handful of the images arguably carry information and ought to describe themselves.
• Third-party surfaces. Checkout, the client area and the hosting control panel all run on supplier software. We report accessibility defects to that supplier, and any fix is out of our hands.

4. Letting us know about a fault

Email info@hosting-n-domains.com or use the contact form. Give us the page, the thing you were trying to do, and what stopped you. Naming your assistive technology and browser helps, when you know them, but a report without either is still worth sending.

You get a reply within five working days. Where a barrier stops you buying something or reaching support, we will find another route and get it done for you while the underlying defect is repaired. Say so in your message and we treat it as urgent.

Should our reply not satisfy you, the complaints procedure hands it to someone who had no part in it.

5. How this was assessed

By self-assessment: walking the whole site with a keyboard, measuring contrast on every token pair in the palette, and testing the layout from 320px upward. We have commissioned no independent audit. Until that changes, this statement will keep saying so.
