A developer at the terminal with real SSH access to the box

Developer First

Real tooling in a familiar panel

It behaves like your own development machine without the upkeep: SSH in, push with Git, use current runtimes and change PHP versions whenever you like — all on cPanel infrastructure we maintain for you.

  • Git, Composer, WP-CLI and SSH
  • Ruby on Rails, Node.js and Python
  • PostgreSQL next to MySQL
  • Remote MySQL and cron jobs

Why Go Business

Arranged for production traffic

Server racks carrying production-ready business hosting accounts

SSH and Git included

A real shell arrives with Git, Composer and WP-CLI, so you deploy exactly the way your projects already ship.

Current runtimes to hand

Run Node.js, Python and Ruby on Rails beside PHP in one cPanel account — no second server required.

Two database engines

MySQL and PostgreSQL are live from day one, with remote connections enabled and phpMyAdmin ready.

Ceilings set high

More CPU, more simultaneous processes and 1,000 emails an hour — arranged for applications and stores carrying real load.

SSL and the daily copy included

Every business plan carries a self-reissuing certificate and a daily copy at no added cost.

Mail at your own name

Create mailboxes at the company name, with webmail and spam filtering set up from the start.

An order going through on a shop that never made the buyer wait for it

Databases

One account, both database engines

Use whichever engine the project calls for, or run both together. Business plans include MySQL and PostgreSQL with remote access on, which suits stores and data-driven applications.

  • PostgreSQL alongside MySQL
  • Reach the databases remotely
  • phpMyAdmin included
  • Suited to data-heavy applications and stores
Traffic climbing while the plan underneath takes it in its stride

Higher Limits

Raised limits for busy sites

When entry-level hosting starts to pinch, the business tiers lift every limit — CPU, processes, traffic and mail — so a rise in visitors passes through without putting the site over.

  • Higher CPU and process limits
  • 1 TB+ of monthly traffic
  • 1,000 outgoing emails per hour
  • Ultimate lifts every ceiling

The Full Stack

The whole stack on one invoice

Everything a current site or application expects, inside both business plans.

  • SSH and SFTP shell access
  • Ruby on Rails, Node.js and Python runtimes
  • PostgreSQL running beside MySQL
  • Any PHP from 5.6 to 8.4, chosen on demand
  • WP-CLI, Git and Composer already installed
  • Scheduled cron, MySQL reachable remotely
  • Softaculous inside cPanel
  • Free SSL and a daily copy
  • Up to 1,000 outgoing emails per hour
  • People on support around the clock

How You Ship

Deploy the way you already do

Git pushes, WP-CLI commands, scheduled cron — the platform bends to your team's habits rather than the reverse.

A developer pushing a Git deployment to a business hosting account

Push via Git

Send code straight to the server with Git while Composer fetches the dependencies.

Staging, and PHP under your control

Try a change on a staging copy and choose each site's PHP version yourself — no ticket required.

Shell-driven automation

Full shell access and scheduled cron handle builds and routine maintenance for you.

*The figure in our column is the cheapest annual plan we sell, read live from the catalogue behind our pricing page, so it cannot drift out of date. The three columns beside it give the ranges hosts in each bracket tend to advertise: opening offers that usually want one to four years up front, then rise when the term ends. We stopped naming competitors and printing their prices, because a number we cannot check on the day you read it does not belong here. Set us against whichever host you are genuinely considering, and read the renewal row hardest of all.

FAQ

Business hosting, set out plainly

Where does business hosting differ from the premium tiers?

Business hosting begins on the same quick cPanel platform as our premium shared plans and then adds what a growing site or a small application eventually asks for. The real differences are developer access and headroom: SSH at the command line, Node.js, Python and Ruby on Rails running alongside PHP, and PostgreSQL available next to MySQL. Mail sending limits rise as well, which starts to matter once receipts and password resets are going out, and you can pay monthly rather than commit to a year, which is easier on cash flow. Everything from the premium tier comes with it intact: NVMe storage, LiteSpeed caching, a free certificate, nightly backups, the free move and support at any hour. Put simply, premium hosting suits a website, and business hosting suits a website with an application working behind it.

Do Node, Python and Rails genuinely run on this?

They do, and that capability is the reason the tier exists at all. Node.js, Python and Ruby on Rails run beside PHP, so an Express or Next.js API, a Flask or Django project, or a Rails application can live here without paying for a whole VPS. On the data side there is MySQL and MariaDB plus PostgreSQL, which a good many modern frameworks assume, and SSH means package managers, migrations and the exact workflow each framework's own documentation describes. It behaves like a compact development box with managed cPanel over the top, so patching the operating system and hardening the server never reach your desk. The honest limits: this is still shared, so genuinely heavy always-on background work, or anything wanting root, belongs on a VPS — and we will point you at the right one when you get there.

Does the refund guarantee cover business hosting?

It does, on identical terms to our premium shared plans, so there are 30 days in which to push it hard before committing. If it does not suit inside that month, one message to support returns the hosting fees, with no obstacle course of retention offers to get past first. The usual edges apply: domain registrations cannot be refunded, because the registry invoices us the instant a name is secured, and any third-party licence or add-on runs on its own terms. After 30 days, cancelling stops the next renewal rather than repaying time already used, and access continues to the end of the current billing period. The complete wording is on the refund policy page, in plain English.

See Business Plans

A lot of shared hosting is buttons with nothing behind them. This is the other kind: SSH at the terminal, Node and Python ready to run, and a panel for the jobs you would rather click. In the engine room sit NVMe storage, LiteSpeed caching, our redundant London datacentre and engineers awake at three in the morning.

Set up for developers and companies growing their teams: a free certificate on every domain, a free lift off your old host, automatic nightly backups, and no distance between the listed price and the invoice.

Shared hosting with real developer tooling

There is SSH, Git and Composer, cron in your own hands, and PHP from 5.6 through 8.4 chosen per site. Node.js and Python applications run alongside the standard PHP stack, so an internal tool, an API and the company site can share one account without treading on each other.

Redundancy is dull and it is exactly where the money goes: our London datacentre, more than one route to the internet, conditioned power, and failover that happens without anyone raising a ticket.

Pricing the extra horsepower

The right plan interests us more than the biggest one. The price is on the page, renewals follow it, and nothing turns up at checkout that was hidden on the way in. Every hosting plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, so trying it risks nothing more than an afternoon.

The price stays shared-hosting money rather than managed-cloud money. Take the tier whose storage and cores fit the projects you have now; upgrading is a click in the panel and the renewal never drifts.

A company working out what its website has to do next

The engineering behind a business account

Business workloads run on NVMe storage behind LiteSpeed in our London datacentre, on redundant power and networking. Our engineers apply patches, panel updates and PHP releases on a schedule, so that work never reaches your team.

Maintenance runs to our timetable, mostly overnight: security patches, panel updates and PHP releases arrive without you booking a window for them.

  • Included: SSH, Git, Composer and cron
  • Python and Node.js alongside the PHP stack
  • Daily backups you restore yourself, in one click
  • SSL issued free and auto-renewed

Good to Know

More that's built in

Company mail lives alongside

Mail on your own name runs beside the site: one panel, one bill, one place to look.

Scale up without relocating

Move up whenever the project asks for it; files, settings and address stay exactly where they are.

Free to leave any time

Your data leaves in the same standard formats it came in, and we will help with the move if it comes to that.

Speed set up for you

Every project lands on NVMe with server-side caching already running, leaving no tuning for you.

Certificates in the price

Each domain comes with a self-renewing certificate, so encryption never appears in the upsell column.

We move it for you

Coming from another host? Our engineers move the project across free, usually inside 24 hours.

Getting Going

Set up in three quick steps

  1. 1

    Grab your plan

Begin on the tier this year's projects need; scaling up is a single click.

  2. 2

    Add your domain

Point the company domain at the account; the certificate installs itself.

  3. 3

    Hit publish

Push code over SSH or Git, or give us the old host and the transfer costs nothing.

In Every Plan

Bundled in at no extra cost

  • 30 days in which to change your mind on any hosting plan
  • PHP versions switched site by site
  • Every plan carries command-line access
  • a 99.9% uptime SLA that pays credits when missed
  • Humans answering support 24 hours a day
  • NVMe storage standard, never an upsell
  • Renewal billed at your original sign-up rate
  • HTTP/2 enabled on LiteSpeed servers

Still Curious

Questions that keep coming up

Is root included on business plans?

No: root belongs to the VPS and dedicated ranges, which begin at $13.52 a month. A shared business plan gives you SSH into your own account, along with Git, Composer, cron and PHP version control, which is enough for most application work without turning you into a sysadmin.

How long until everything is running?

Provisioning is instant and automatic. Only a migration takes longer, and even that usually finishes the same day, done by us at no charge.

Does the price move at renewal?

The same rate and the same amount. There is no introductory price here that quietly doubles once you have settled in.

What if business web hosting turns out not to suit me?

The plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. Say so inside the month and the refund is processed, with no exit interview and no hand-off to a retention team paid to argue.
