City brief · Istanbul

Hosting arranged for the Istanbul market

From textile and machinery exports and marketplaces and domestic ecommerce to everybody else building something in Istanbul: the local name, the speed and the support all run off one account.

The short answer

A Istanbul business wants three things from hosting: pages that arrive quickly for its real audience, the ending locals trust (.com.tr or .tr), and uptime that holds day and night — and none of the three needs a server inside the city limits.

Hosting & Domains gives Istanbul businesses NVMe hosting behind LiteSpeed caching, free SSL, the move done for you and people on support at every hour — at flat rates that never ask where you log in from.

Drives as standard

Sixteen million people and an export economy shipping textiles, machinery, furniture and food into Europe, the Gulf and Africa from one city. Layered on top is one of the largest gaming and startup scenes in the region, staffed by graduates who could work anywhere at all.

With the scene set, three hosting questions carry the weight: which ending converts at home, how quick the site feels to your real audience, and the reliability that rides out local conditions. Each has a section below.

Winning trade online in Istanbul

Trade here gathers around textile and machinery exports, marketplaces and domestic ecommerce, mobile gaming and startups and hotels and tours — different trades, the same web fundamentals — pages that open at once on a phone, enquiries that arrive intact, and uptime that never lets the side down.

Trade by trade the same pattern holds: a customer opens the site at the very moment of deciding, almost always on a phone, and marks the business on how that moment goes. Hosting is the unseen half of the mark.

Local trust starts with the ending you choose

On home ground, the answer is .com.tr or .tr. At home, trust runs through .com.tr and the newer direct .tr, and exporters hold a .com for the international line. Buyers in each market read the ending they expect and ignore the other one.

The relevant endings are registered and renewed beside the hosting, on one account with one renewal date and DNS pointed properly from the outset. Where the TLD qualifies, an annual hosting plan covers the first year of registration.

Latency, answered honestly

Turkish networks meet European infrastructure over short, well-provisioned paths. A page built in London reaches the domestic audience quickly and reaches the buyers in Stuttgart or Sharjah reading the same catalogue an hour later just as quickly.

Modern serving turns on the cache. A typical visit receives a page built earlier, and the delivery time is small beside how quickly the platform generated and stored it. What settles it is NVMe, LiteSpeed and a sensible number of accounts per server, rather than the map reference.

The hardware your reputation rests on

Every time the site is up when somebody looks, reputation gains a little — and one badly timed outage can spend the lot in an afternoon. Our 99.9% uptime target runs under constant monitoring, with a daily copy beneath it and people on support through every hour Istanbul's businesses keep.

NVMe storage and LiteSpeed caching sit under every tier, the smallest plan included — that is the floor here, not an upgrade.

The London hall the hardware behind this account actually sits in

Local standing, global hardware

We run sites for businesses across dozens of countries on one platform built for exactly that spread: caching that holds its speed at distance, USD pricing that behaves the same whoever is invoicing, and engineers who answer without first checking the clock.

The rate you register at is the rate you renew at, so year two costs precisely what year one did — nothing lying in wait on the invoice.

  • .com.tr or .tr registered and renewed alongside the plan
  • Cached pages that stay quick at distance
  • SSL free, the move free, set-up free
  • Engineers on shift whatever your timezone

Why Hosting & Domains

Standard on every plan

One USD price, wherever you invoice from

Billing runs in USD at a rate that renews as it stands, which means next year's hosting line is a number your accounts already hold.

Quick on the connection buyers actually have

With LiteSpeed caching over NVMe storage the page exists before the request arrives, whether that request comes from a phone in Istanbul traffic, a desk, or a procurement laptop.

Mail that carries your own name

Mailboxes at your own name are part of the plan, so a reply reaches the customer from the same name they typed into the address bar.

One account for the name and the hosting

Your .com.tr or .tr sits on the same account as the hosting, registered, pointed and renewed there, with DNS aimed correctly before anybody has to ask.

The move billed at nothing

Hosted elsewhere today? The whole site comes across free of charge, carried by our engineers, serving visitors the entire time, and DNS only moves once you have signed it off.

Support that works your hours

Engineers are on shift around the clock — a first reply within two hours, within one when a site is down, whatever the hour is in Istanbul.

Quick Start

Order placed to site online

  1. 1

    Get the name registered

Register .com.tr or .tr or transfer an existing name in — it is the ending locals believe in, and year one is free on qualifying annual plans.

  2. 2

Start clean, or bring the site across

Starting fresh: one evening with the installer, or with the Website Builder. Existing site: one migration request and roughly a day while we do the rest.

  3. 3

Leave the upkeep to the platform

After launch the maintenance is ours: certificates, copies, monitoring, support. The content and the customers stay entirely yours.

Frequently Asked

The questions that come up most

Exporting to Europe and the Middle East — will one site cover both?

Usually one site manages it. Turkish and English as parallel trees, Arabic added once Gulf revenue justifies the translation, all of it served from the same cache in every direction. Separate sites only earn their keep once the ranges themselves stop matching.

With the currency moving, is flat pricing worth much?

It is most of the appeal. Plans bill in USD at a flat rate with renewals matching your signup price, so the hosting line stays predictable while other costs are not. Nothing local-currency turns up as a surprise at renewal.

Is the free SSL certificate genuinely free?

Entirely, on every plan. The certificate is issued as soon as the name points here and reissues itself well before it lapses. On encryption it matches any paid DV certificate — the paid options exist for wildcard coverage or organisation validation, which most sites never need.

Can more than one website run on a single plan?

From the Turbo tier upward, yes — several sites, each with its own name, mailboxes and certificate, inside one account. If the extra sites belong to clients rather than to you, look at reseller hosting instead: it keeps each one properly walled off.

Changing hosts? Run through our checklist first.

A plain order of work for a move nobody visiting will notice: which files go over first, how to carry the mail across without losing a message, when exactly to repoint DNS, and the two mistakes behind nearly every outage we are asked to rescue.

What arrives is the checklist, and then the occasional note on keeping a site quick. Leave whenever you like; the privacy policy covers the rest.

Your site has earned better hosting.

Every plan carries the essentials other hosts bill as extras — and support that answers.
